ASISC Northern is one of the largest regions in India comprising Northern States namely: Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi & NCR, Chandigarh and Jammu & Kashmir thereby all the ISC and ICSE Schools stand affiliated to the council.

Northern Region is basically divided into 11 Zones i.e. Amritsar & Tarn Taran, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Muktsar, Moga, Chandigarh, Delhi & NCR, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

The region is naturally blessed with immense topographical diversity, historical monuments, different cultures, wildlife parks, Sanctuaries, diversified climatic conditions and mountainous landscapes. It is a matter of great pride that the splendor and vastness of the Architectural heritage of North India can easily be demonstrated by the fact that out of 23 cultural world heritage sites in India which have been declared by UNESCO are in North India.

The Northern Plains are fertile due to the deposition of Alluvial soil. Agriculturally, it is known to be a very productive part of India, due to abundant availability of water supply, favourable climate and rich soil thereby, giving the title to Northern Plains as the granaries of India.
